Reasons why today is a good day
- I opened today, which meant I only worked until 4. For someone used to working closing shifts, this feels like a half-day, even though I recognize on some level that I actually was at work at 8 this morning.
- Someone picked up a copy of Can't Hardly Wait on DVD for under $4. Who was that . . . oh yeah, that was ME! I can finally get rid of my VHS copy now! Great excitement!
- It is sunny and somewhere in the upper 50s, which is pretty much my definition of perfect weather.
- I have a bottle of red wine breathing on the counter.
- When I got to the checkout at the liquor store, I noticed the sign that said, "Tuesday is Wine Day! All wines 10% off." So it seems that my wine craving was excellently timed.
- I have (the good kind of) crappy pizza and cheesy, garlicky breadsticks.
- I will be spending a good portion of the rest of the evening filling prompts over at st_respect .
*contented sigh*
