Awww, I feel pretty bad for her. :lol: Someone in some author's note (god, I've read so many lately I can't even remember what story it was, much less the author) said they feel kind of sorry for her, because it's gotta suck to realize that your boyfriend is part of this big epic, destined romance . . . with someone else.

But she'll find comfort in Chris Chapel's lovin' arms, so i think she'll be okay.

I...don't like her in anything but TOS, so more often than not I'm just like, "Psh, sucks to her." I have read that author's note somewhere as well and it really is true (but I'm just mean). I've recently discovered that I only like Spock/Uhura when it's girl!Spock/Uhura.

That's fair. :erm: I really didn't care for nu!Uhura, but I blame the writers more than anything, you know? I therefore choose to disregard canon in favor of my own nu!Uhura that exists only IN MY MIND. And she's pretty cool. Especially when she gets slashed with Christine. Rrrawr. The point being, I think that nu!Uhura really works best as a lesbian. Interesting.
