Retail Therapy, woo?
Hello LJ!!
Even though I come and read my flist about everyday, I haven't posted in months. I blame this kind of funk I've been in...but now, I'm ready for change. It's time to write more and escape from under this rock I've been lurking under.
Even though it has delicious grubs for me to eat. Mmm...grubs.
What?
Um, so yeah. Yesterday I went to Target, which has become my weekly place to go grocery shopping. And because it has tons of other shiny objects to distract me, I end up buying other stuff. Such as yesterday, when I bought Tim Burton's new Alice in Wonderland. Since it was uber-cheap on sale, I also picked up a copy of Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist.
Today I opened both movies, intending to throw out the plastic and security devices and what have you before adding them to...the pile of DVDs on my floor b/c my shelf is full. But, I open the Nick & Norah DVD case, and THERE WAS NO DVD INSIDE! >=O WTH? A bit shocked to have been duped out of a DVD, I tore apart the couch like a doofus, looking for a DVD that may have fallen out, but there was nothing.
I even had my mother look to make sure I wasn't crazy. But it wasn't there. O_O So we took a little trip back to Target to exchange, and I now have a copy with an actual DVD inside. Freakin' hell.
Then later this evening I managed to catch the last half of the OT session of the Blackhawks game and see the winning goal, which was exciting. Well, the goal itself I didn't see until the replay, but it was neat seeing everyone pass around the Stanley Cup. :)
