Nine? Is it really the ninth?
Well, technically it's the tenth now, but bleeeeeeeeh.
I'm...not anywhere near where I want to be...
8682 / 50000 words. 17% done!
But I've been writing a little here and there. I finally got out a larger chunk tonight. The past couple of days it was only a couple hundred words here and there, and I forgot to update my word count on the website. I also got stuck already because I had a beginning and a middle and end idea, but nothing connecting the points in the story. So...some inbetweens need to be hammered out.
I thought I would be able to possibly write at work at Saturday, because weekend days are often slow, but I actually had actual work to do...shock of shocks.
Friday I went to a wine tasting at my friend's place in McHenry. It's cool that I'm able to hang out with my co-workers outside of work. We sampled 12 different wines. The wine that won was a delicious apple-cinnamon dessert wine that tasted like apple pie (omg). The wine that Shane and I brought from Galena, an Illinois Traminette, got 2nd place. :)
Saturday I worked then went straight out to Chicago to see Margaret's condo. Yay!
Sunday was a slight recovery day followed by a game night.
So, hopefully I'll be able to catch up on my writing during the week. I'm going to try and write more than I have been. I had a late start today because I fell asleep on the couch while waiting for TBBT to come on.
