And that is all she wrote to 6th Quarter. I am now officially a 3L - with the attendant rights, responsibilities, and Practice Court.
OH MY GOD PC!!!!
So of my finals, I feel okay to good about CrimPrac, FedCourts, and FRL. I think I got my ass handed to by CR and Remedies. But those are electives and are probably graded by throwing darts at boards, so...
So here is my schedule, and I only wish I were making it up.
First two weeks:
MWF
PC I: 8:00-9:30
PC II: 10-11:30
PC II (double session): 2-?
TR
PC I: 8:00-9:30
PC II: 10-11:30
PR: 11:45-1
PC II (double session): 2-?
After the first two weeks, the double session of PC will turn into advocacy exercises, and then it will look like this:
MWF
PC I: 8:00-9:30
PC II: 10-11:30
Advocacy: 1-?
TR
PC I: 8:00-9:30
PC II: 10-11:30
PR: 11:45-1
Advocacy: 2-?
Word on the street is that with Powell (from here on Prof PC II/PC III) out of town on Monday, we're not getting out of our double session for that first day, but that Wren (from here on Prof PC I) is having a triple session. This is as yet unsubstantiated by Blackboard, but I got it straight from Puckett, and dude, it is not wise to ignore the words of the Puckett.
I did go out tonight with Sarah to take my last pre-PC break. We were going to go to Cricket's, as I was MAJORLY craving cheesy fries, but the wait was freaking 40 minutes, so we went to Buffalo Wildwing's instead. I didn't have the phone number of the person who'd been supposed to meet us, and no one else I talked to had it either, and he never called, so we never met up. But Sarah and I enjoyed our drinks and wings. And yes, at BWWs, you really do go for the wings--and not for the service, that's for darn sure, after tonight.
Tonight I think my law peeps are out celebrating with our old friends
Scruffy Murphy,
George, and
Treff, but now I'm home and putting things away, getting things straightened up. Got to get all prepped up for the big day! This is partly because I'm just a gunner like that (stop laughing!), and partly because I didn't hear from my contact as to where the party was going down. At least that way I get to sleep tonight.
My God I'm tired.
And now one more unproven rumor: word on the street is that this summer, Ryan is taking CivPro, and maybe...just maybe...ConLaw. No proof, but that's the rumor. <.< >.>
