(no subject)
SF ZOO AIN'T NUTHIN T'FUCK WIT!
so sean and i woke up a bit later than we had planned to, but we managed to shower (i donned my whale clips, which he surprised me with - they have googly eyes!!!), cut some to-go cornbread (we made sweet jalapeño cornbread on saturday - it is AMAZING), and hit the road in time enough to get to the zoo with a few hours to run around. so we did! i got to see all 4 of my favorite animals! giraffes (we even saw them in their feeding pen and the zoo-keeper talked to us about them and their diets, as the giraffes canoodled him and ate bananas (whole) and quartered apples and alfalfa), kangaroos (THEY ARE SOOOO LAZY!!!! just laid around... sean and i had to stand around about ten minutes before two of them actually hopped a few feet! most of them just sunbathed lazily!), ostriches (one would not stop looking over at where sean and i were standing! hahahahaha! sean says he imagines it was a boy ostrich and that he was checkin' out my hot neck - hahahahaha), and an anteater, of whom i got NO pictures because he was in his indoor quarters, which were dark, and we could only see through a glass, so that any attempt at pictures were futile). we hit pasquale's pizzeria after and had -- what else? Pesto, Pineapple, Jalapeño pizza! ;D
tonight we're going for puerto rican food in the east bay -- sara and jason have a car and invited us along. :) woohoo!
