The gallery that sells the majority of his work, hasn't taken in a new artist since Warhol, so of course the interviewer asked the owner what made them choose this artist

Heh. I guess you wouldn't get too many people from South or Central America in England, would you? d-: Here in south Florida, it's weird when to meet someone from Spain. "Your name is Miguel Rodriguez? But ... but ... but ... you're white! Are you Cuban?" (There are a lot of fair skinned Cubans.) We're pretty diverse down here. As a white girl, I'm definitely in the minority in my neighborhood. I went to college in Northern Florida, and it was weird attending a school that was almost entirely white. The first time I walked into the dining hall, and saw a sea of blond heads, I felt distinctly out of place. LOL

Your friend's comic is funny! I'd rather read a well-written comic than a well-drawn one anyway. Tell him to keep up the good work. (I loved the slug one. Heh.) Oh, and your user icon is from a comic called "Strangers in Paradise." If you ever come across it, pick it up. It's excellent! The artwork alone is reason enough to read it.
