Well, dear reader, the whole she-bang is over and done with. It was so much fun getting all gussied up to visit with friends, and I wish I could do it again next year.
I had my highlights re-done, a bit more subtle this time, and my hair curled and piled on top of my head. Because I inherited Daddy's hair genes (and I am thankful I actually have hair) it takes cement to make curls stay in my hair. I won't even go into what they cute curls felt like. Especially washing out. But damn, they looked cute. With the dress. And the accessories. Okay, enough descriptions, here's a cute shot showing some of it off (because I can do this now!):
Yay! You'll get to see more pictures now. And even more once I get my computer back. Yay.
Also, I think it's important to let you all know, that for the first time in my life I received a trophy this evening. For placing in the Mini-Medal Finals. I've received awards and certificates and once even a plaque. But it's taken 24 years for me to get a trophy. Squee.
And now, dear reader, it's time for Cinderella to go to bed. Have a lovely evening.
