Wow. Crazyish weekend.
Mom needs to learn that if she's going to read my emails (even if they're on my brother's computer, it doesn't make it okay) then she should not get upset about stuff she may read about HERSELF in them. Gee, mom, I'd love to talk to you about our non-relationship, but you're always too busy. So, yes, I talk with my friends about how I cope until you decide that I'm important enough to talk to.
Anyways. I had a great time with Jenn at the Angie Aparo concert, even if she did get a mite tipsy. She's very helpful driving home like that too. Very very helpful indeed. But Angie was great, as always. And Mark was hot, as always (I want to have his little pink-haired Mark-babies) and we had a good time with each other. I haven't seen her in forever (thanks to us both being very specially busy) and it was good to hang out together.
On the way home I called someone that I haven't "spoken" with since high school. He found my LJ, and we've e-mailed a bit lately. We ended up talking for something like 3 hours. And even though we knew each other back in high school, it still feels like finding a new person. How crazyweirdcool is life? It's amazing how people will come and people will go, and you never know which ones will leave forever, and which ones will come back again.
Finally got off my butt and went to Horsetown to get a new pair of breeches (show is next Saturday) and boy oh boy did I pick the wrong day. Everyone and their third cousin was at Horsetown today. They were having some all-day prize giveaway sell-some-boots-a-thon, so the biker boys (and girls) were there to get their biker boots, and the Mexican boys (and girls) were there to get their Mexican boots, and the redneck boys (and girls) were there to get their redneck boots, and here I am, the ONLY person in the English Apparel section, and still feeling overwhelmed even though I didn't have anything to do with the boots. But, I got a pair of breeches, and the showing may commence without hassle. If, of course, Topper can keep his shoes on.
And now, Dear Reader, I'm going to clean my room, clean myself, and go to bed. Have a lovely evening.
