Apparently,
gwenypher has something planned for birthday festivities that is supposedly "adventurous and slightly dangerous." All I know is we have to be at "the place" by 6 tonight. Base jumping? Sky Diving? Bull Riding? Snake Handling? (don't laugh, there are churches in the area ...) I had a dream the other night that we were going Putt-putting. Well, I'll know soon enough, fo' sho'.
Aside from Thomas getting me sick, it's been a good birthday week. Mom and Dad got me the first season of Lost on DVD and took me out to dinner at Macaroni Grill. Thomas took me to Six Flags (then got me sick ... ha!). And friends have called all week to wish me a happy birthday. Even my busy law-type-student friends. Yay. And Nesta, of all the people in the world, got me a box of cookies for my birthday. I'm reminded of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" for some reason.
I'm hoping to enjoy a nice, quiet weekend with friends. Sonja is back in Atlanta for a few weeks with an internship placement, and we're having lunch tomorrow at Ru San's. Mmmm ... sushi. And I'm going yarn shopping with
100wordspermin to get the necessary materials for my forthcoming Jayne-hat. Yay for Janye-hats! Sunday, I think, I'm dedicating to sleep.
Shite. I just realized that I lost a phone number for someone that I ran into at DragonCon. Packard: I haven't called you because I'm an idiot when it comes to telephones. Really. I don't remember if I gave you my phone number, but if I did, call me!
