Zis dream is obviously a subconcious expression of your dissatisfaction with a (or dissatisfaction with your lack of a) romantic relationship. You are craving a serious stable relationship with a man. The need for stability is expressed in the agitation you feel toward the constant coming and going of your date. Also, the waitress not bringing the food shows that your basic needs aren't being met...You can't get no satisfaction... anyway... Mark Wahlberg personifies all that you wish you had in a romantic partner (at least in the dream). He and his friends swoop in a rescue you from your instability and longing. The fact that it was a big deal that you didn't tip the waitress probably means that you have a naturally forgiving heart (for example, still wanting to tip a waitress who gives you crappy service) but you're trying to be more assertive and stand up for yourself when others wrong you (thus not actually leaving the tip) The rain is the forces working against you in your life (both intentionally and unintentionally.) Luckily, you have the coats (which represent your natural emotional defenses to things like criticism etc and chances are, were you not with Mark, you wouldn't have the coats or the inner-tubes, I'm going to venture a guess that he supplied them in the dream, even if you don't remember that part.) Finally, you find happiness! You're dream man has fallen in love with you and all should be well with the world, but it's not! The parents are a subconcious projection of your feeling that your biggest dreams will be squashed and you won't be happy. You may also have some intimacy issues of your own (thus the safe sex thing) or maybe you're just scared of having a child. Either are possible...... I don't know if you're seeing anyone now, and if you are I'm sorry if this insults them, but it seems to me that you're looking for a good man with whom you can be happy. Now if you could just realize that everyone deserves to be happy, including you, and the obstacles in your path are just a challenge to conquer on the road to your happiness... BE STRONG KAT! ;)

Clever.
It certainly hold the possibility of being a solid interpretation for me. I can, however, explain where Mark Whalberg comes in: I remember hearing his name while chanel surfing right before bed. The cliche "man of my dreams" leans much more towards Matt Damon or Jude Law. I think anyone who voluntarily uses the name "Marky Mark" is just not going to work with my personality. ;o)
I see we both know andorus. Do we know each other?
