I think Bleach may actually be ending ....
In all honestly, considering what Bleach has been all these years, I expected it to go out with a bang, or at least there needed to be some sort of epic stand off between whatever-the-hell Aizen is now and Ichigo in Getsuga form. What I DID NOT WANT was some random background shots with dark spots in the sky and for it all to be over in a few panels! I am so disappointed with 421 I really cannot put it into words. I mean the thing which has been built up for the last 300 odd chapters ends in a couple of panels!!
And there is no way I am buying that rubbish about the Hōgyoku rejecting Aizen as its master because he wished it to, as deep down he was so isolated by his power that he just wanted to be a regular shinigami, just as Ichigo has always just wanted to be a normal human. I will not be surprised if this is further explained that it was because he was so lonely that he wanted to become a God or some other lame reason like that. It's one thing if his motives are never explained, or that he had no motives and all that he has done was purely for his enjoyment [read:For the Evolz], or because he wanted to test the limits of his power. I however will not accept the 'Nobody hugged him as a child theory'!
Ichigo loosing his shinigami and ultimately his spirit powers, it gives everything a wonderfully conclusive note, or at least it does for Ichigo. As too the fates of the many other characters? Only chapter 424 two weeks from now will tell.
