Independance Day.
It's been sixty-three years, since that India ceased being part of the Empire of Briton, and things are hardly different than they were back then.
But progress takes time, and I know that the situation within the county is pretty bad right now, but rather than dwell on it, I'm just going to celebrate the fact that while we have made many blunders and will continue to do so, we have done it all on our own, and no matter what we have still maintained our democracy, and uphold our constitution.
So Happy Independence Day! Jai Hind!
