[011] - [late night, day 55] - adrenaline kick

Hey, Reebles. I don't know if Gabriel told you or not, but another former SOLDIER was at headquarters yesterday. A Second, name of Vega Shadows. Apparently you were out, because she was sent to me, and we got to talk. She says she'd like to help as a mercenary of sorts, so I'll pass along her number and information later for when you need it. Should be good having another one of us around, right?

I'm really sorry for what I'm about to do... How was your trip north?

Someone once told me that there's no use regretting a decision already made and to face the consequences of my decisions head on. Apparently, I wasn't listening too well, because I'm still regretting this choice, even as I'm carrying it out.

Hacking isn't exactly an innate SOLDIER skill. But then, what I did wasn't exactly hacking. I already had access to some files on Deepground before the attack on the servers while I was watching Hojo. As far as I could tell, that attack scrambled the permissions on some personnel records, and somehow marked me as a general of the army, so...when I went to headquarters and logged in, I had access to everything I needed.

I really did go there for another purpose: to enter Vega's information in the database. (It was odd; I really must have been enamored with one blonde executive to not notice I wasn't the only female in SOLDIER.) But out of curiosity, I guess, I just tried to access the files. It asked for a few identifying characteristics and I was in. Page after page of information on Sephiroth and Jenova and the projects dealing with them... All too much to read there. I copied it and left.

There's a trail a mile wide if anyone looks into it. If Hojo does something with the information other than reviving Amaya, and it turns out that information was exactly what he needed, well... I'll turn myself in, to Reeve. And before that, I'll tell San.

After this phone call, I'll tell him.

[As the phone rings, she waits for Hojo to pick up, impatiently flipping the flash drive in her free hand.]

[OOC: Sorry if the information-gathering method was a bit too convenient...]

hojo, really sorry about this, wro, reeve
