Einstein renamed and looking for a house.
A few days ago we had a power outage and Einstein was charging... we are back to the beep code of doom and HP is picking him up today for yet another new mainboard. Meh, I swear when Einstein comes back this time, he will be renamed... into M.I.R!
Would fit into my naming scheme since the Acer L100 is still called Sputnik.
Sputnik was on during a later power outage today, but booted normally when the power came back. Both machines have surge-protected power cords, so I don't really know what is going on.
Further plans for Einstein/M.I.R. once I get him back: Try OSX86 to shock the masses, if that doesn't work try the much-praised Windows 7 pre-beta.
I am currently trying to find a new house too since the current one is so damp and constantly cold that we started to get a mildew infestation and I am sick of it. Bah!
