wow, now that i've started posting again it's like i'm a journal whore! aahhh! yeah, anyway...i just wrote a poem! it's not my greatest, but it works. obviously i've gotten my inspiration from johnny depp's fear and loathing in las vegas. just keep in mind, ya kinda need to see the movie in order to understand it.

somehwere between fear
and loathing
you lost me on this lonely
las vegas road
i listened to the tapping of your fingers
on the wheel
as we sped off into a cool nevada night
the beer stains on your shirt
tell a sad story about you
and the spot of white residue just
beneath your nose
doesn't hurt in second-guessing the ending
to such a tragedy
you glanced at me in disgust
as i clinched a tissue and shed a tear
under my breath
i'm filth to you
mascara-stained and a glimmer of curiosity
where did my dreams go?
they were left in our hotel room, #218
with my favorite blue dress
torn by your vicious intoxication and rape
of my soul
i glance at the radio
it's playing our song
3:43 am, i say
and i know i can't escape you
