The flu is never fun. It wasn't too bad, luckily, but still, no fun.

It's hard. Because part of me thinks that I'm not really passionate about the horses anymore, it's just that I want to make a point to all the haters in my life, and a part of me is just wondering if it's just because I had consigned myself to not working with horses and I just shut off the passion for a bit and it can be turned on again. And I know that it won't pay well, and the barn owner even said as much when I met him on Monday. He said they have a hard time keeping people to stay long term because the barn can't afford to pay well enough for $30thousand a year, which people generally would like. As for going for the money, it especially makes sense in your case, as you have two boys to take care of as well. And I lean that direction too, because of financial security.

The kitty doing great. He's still waking me up too early, is always chatty when he's hungry or bored, but is always willing to some extent to cuddle. AND HE'S JUST SO CUTE SOMETIMES I JUST CAN'T.

*hugs back* I am trying not to freak out. The interview went well on Monday, and I will know by the end of the week if things look good and we can start making plans for me to do a trial run at the barn.
