a sympathy card...

I received a very nice sympathy card from Cat Haven today. For those of you who aren't familiar with them they are our cat vet. They all signed it and Dr. Grant wrote a few words. It really meant a lot to me. The reason I am mentioning it here is the message on the front of the card. It spoke to me very strongly and since most of my friends are animal people I wanted to share it with you...

"We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own live within a fragile circle, easily and often breached. Unable to accept its awful gaps, we still would live no other way. We cherish memory as the only certain immortality, never fully understanding the necessary plan." Irving Townsend

Inside, one of them also wrote - "What we have once enjoyed, we can never lose, all that we love deeply becomes a part of us." Helen Keller

I love you all...

Be Blessed,
TCSC
