(no subject)
Alrighty-roo. I'm all graduate and still pathetically unemployed, which means I have nothing to do but update this.
Seriously though, I still do follow everyone elses, but I really want to start updating my own. Maybe just so I seem less creepy and stalkerish. Anyway.
So yeah, I'm all done with undergrad, and trying to get started in book publishing. Do you know how craptastic the job market is right now? Because I didn't until I started getting ignored by all the companies I sent my resume to. I don't even mean rejected. At least then they'd have cared enough to respond. I mean, downright ignored. It got to the point where I checked to make sure my email worked.
Aside from that, living at home is...interesting. I don't do much anymore. I go to the gym. I see friends on the occasion. I stay in and watch reruns of Frasier. Is this what it's like to be grown up?
Oh, I did see Weird Al in concert last week in Pennsylvania. That pretty much made my summer. He's crazy, and awesome and performed for 3 hours with only a few minutes of costume changes between songs to rest. CRAAAAZY.
My parents are being pretty cool about the whole no job thing so far. Starting to get a little more vocal, but they understand. I think. And that's honestly my life.
Sometimes I miss school so much I ache. Sometimes I realize the best thing for me in so many ways is to be back up here.
And I'm going to start updating more. I'm back!
