I do apologize for letting my journal sit here, being ignored. I finally got my laptop back from the repair shop. They had it for 2 weeks!!
Christmas was lovely. We spent the day at our daughter's home visiting with our family and close friends. We had a picture perfect white Christmas. It warmed up shortly after Christmas, melting all of the snow. Our younger daughter arrived from Boston on the Tuesday before Christmas and stayed til the following Tuesday. It was so very nice to be able to spend some time with her.
I've been feeling ok. Not great, but not terrible either. I haven't had any sessions with my therapist since I went to Texas in October. I really should schedule an appointment.
I have an appointment with my neurologist next week. I want to ask him about the numb place on my right thigh. I've had it for 15 years, but lately it's really been bothering me. I have occasional incidents of what feels like being clawed by a cat around the edges of the numbness. I wonder if the numbness is due to the neuropathy that's inherited in my dad's family.
My eyes are doing fine. I'm still having a bit of difficulty adjusting to being slightly farsighted instead of being severely nearsighted! I am using reading glasses that I bought at the dollar store! :-)
We're planning on attending Gulf Wars in March. I'm excited and a bit nervous. I'm not overly fond of camping which is what we'll be doing for a week. I'm just praying for good weather!!! I wanted to take a vacation with my husband and gave him a choice between going to Williamsburg or going to Gulf Wars. He chose the SCA event... I have to get busy and get some more clothes made so that we have enough for the week. Thank goodness I already have a good supply of linen!
Well, that's all I can think of for now. I hope that everyone had a lovely holiday!!
