Another update about my life
Ok so, now along with the photo/video editor job, I got a job at Crate & Barrel at the mall. Again, not that glamorous, but at least it's money. I started tonight and it's fun for sure, but so overwhelming! There is SO much to learn! I don't know how I'm ever going to learn it all. Who knows. I've applied to a bunch of other jobs though...so maybe I'll get one of them and then will end up quitting both the jobs I have now. Only time will tell!
Today was a crazy day though. I worked at the wedding place from 11-4, then at 4 drove straight to the mall so I would have enough time to eat dinner and be at Crate & Barrel by 5:30, then worked from 5:30 til 9:45 or so. So, it was almost a 12 hour a day! But, at least it's keeping me busy. And at least I am finally starting to make some money to pay off some of my debts.
Tomorrow is Rosh Hashanah which is the Jewish new year for those of you who don't know. Tomorrow night we are going out to dinner at this fancy restaurant called Linwoods that my grandparents are taking us too. It's kind of funny to go there for Rosh Hashanah dinner...but my grandmother said she didn't feel like cooking. So I'm not complaining! Then on Thursday night my mom is having a Rosh Hashanah dinner at our house, which will be ok, except that EVERYONE of my extended relatives is going to be asking me about my new life now. I hate that! Every time I see them at a family function I get asked the same questions about 10 times. Question such as, "So, how does it feel to be a graduate!" "How do you like the real world?" "What are your plans now?" "Ooh how do you like work?" And then the same reactions, "That's so great!" "You know, when I got my first job..." "Ohh I LOVE Crate & Barrel!" etc. etc. Even though they are just being friendly, it still sucks donkey.
Hmm what else. Today at the wedding place we met with a guy who does local commercials. Mr. Richardson (the head of the company) wants to make a commercial. I brought up my ideas, and he said I could make it. I don't know if I'm skilled enough! But if I DID make the commercial, that would seriously speak strongly on my resume I think!
Anyway, I guess that's it for now. I have to go to bed because I have to get up hella early tomorrow.
