TV/Movie Meme - Day 4
Well, OKC dodged a bullet on the severe weather! On the one hand, I'm glad we didn't get hit with any tornadoes; on the other, I'm kind of miffed I missed out on a free steak dinner tonight for nothing. :P Oh well, life goes on. I did get some gorgeous cloud shots, which I've posted on my Facebook.
Day 04 - A movie that makes you sad
Easy. Revenge of the Sith. The only time I've never at least gotten misty-eyed at it is when I first saw it, and that's simply because I was numb. In the right state, RotS can have me bawling. Sometimes starting at Order 66; sometimes Vader walking in on the younglings; sometimes I can hold off all the way to Padmé's funeral, but then I see the japor snippet and I just crack.

Day 04 - Your favorite show ever
Tossup between Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Farscape. ST: TNG was pretty much the formative show of my childhood, stoking the embers of my love of sci-fi; it's also got my favorite Trek captain. Farscape pushed the envelope with creativity/sheer audacity and often did so brilliantly; the characters were so well-drawn that even in my second episode - a body-switch episode - I was able to grasp them; the overarching continuity was fantastic. Buffy... could make you laugh and then rip your heart out and dance on it three seconds later; it did so well at executing the "growing up/life literally IS hell" metaphor and doing so in a charmingly self-aware way, never afraid to poke some fun at itself.
