It's aliiiiiive!
Wow. Haven't posted since January!
Long story short: I simply find I don't have much inclination to post on LJ anymore. I can occasionally muster up the interest to look at a couple of comms, but that's it.
And I haven't really missed posting, honestly. I didn't even renew my paid account. My online activities as a whole have actually been severely curtailed from lack of interest. I'm still updating my SW site, but that's about the only thing I'm doing regularly.
I don't know if or when I'll regularly post again. If I do, it'll probably be stuff of a strictly fannish nature, like CW reviews or graphics/fic, some of which I still do have in the hopper.
Some of what's happened in the last month:
-- Filled out an application for a new apartment. Will be moving in less than two weeks! Have not started packing. o_O
-- One-year anniversary of Grandpa's death was a couple of days ago. :(
-- Re-colored my hair auburn.
-- Read/listened to several new books, including People of the Book by Geraldine Brooks and Twilight. The former I really enjoyed. The latter... eh.
-- Audiobooks are awesome. Why did I never try this before? I can just lay down with my eyes closed, or be driving to work, and still immerse myself in a book.
-- Started attending a couple of book/brunch clubs to get out of the house and read more. Enjoying it so far. :)
-- Turned 27 yesterday; decent, not horrible, not astounding. Good dinner, took the day off, and I got this awesome book from Dad. Thanks on the birthday wishes to zorb, ariadnequinn, sugarjet03, and anyone else I missed! ♥
-- emmaorgana, you passed through OK and I didn't realize it? *thwacks both of us*
*squishes* to all of you! Like I said, not sure when I'll be around again.
