M-O-O-N, that spells pig flu
So, tonight my sister and I are chilling in front of my bigscreen with my new remastered Trek movie trilogy DVDs (the II/III/IV trilogy - the only OS films I'd want to own anyway), ringing in the start of Memorial Day weekend and as an excuse to geek out and eat pizza. But partway through IV, she gets a phone call from her boyfriend - turns out their friend is *thisclose* to being hospitalized for a nasty case of what doctors think is likely H1N1 flu, caught from a customer at her work. (She works in a plasma donation center.) Both my sister and her bf hung out with her just a few days ago.
So, if you don't hear from me in the next few days, then I've died of Captain Trips pig flu. ;) Or possibly heat stroke, thanks to my non-functioning A/C.
Good news is, the new Trek DVDs look awesome. :D Kirk's Enterprise has never looked better on my TV.
And if the pig flu doesn't get me, it now looks as if I will be on my sunny beach with my margarita roughly three weeks from now. :D
