(And the awesome guy who was just giving the thing away.)
Well, even without my sister's whiny bitch of a roommate, but with a borrowed appliance dolly and the help of a very gracious neighbor - her, Dad, Janet, and I managed to get that beast of a TV up the stairs! 186 pounds, felt like about twice that. SHIT. We're all going to be sore for several days.
It's all worth it, because Star Wars looks SO PRETTY on this screen. :D Sounds a lot better, too. This will be the biggest screen I've ever seen any of the old trilogy on, heh.
Now, if I could find a way to hook up my computer to this thing and watch the Clone Wars episodes on it, I'd officially have it made. ;)
And on a political note: HAHA,
my birth state FTW! :D I will cheer if Missouri goes blue.
ETA: Wow, my sister's roommate's mom just called looking for him. She hasn't heard from them either. Considering the way he and my sister were screaming at each other when I last talked to her (about 4 1/2 hours ago), this kind of worries me. :/ I don't worry about physical abuse - they both lean towards the verbal - but more him getting distracted and running off the road somewhere...
