It's back!! :D
Not only is my Ethernet port working, the scotch tape is gone... and my computer is actually clean. No fingerprint smudges, no pop stains. Feels weird, heh. (I give the cleanliness a week.)
Went to the eye doctor yesterday. Mostly my eyes are in good shape, but there is a slight problem with my distance vision. I won't need to wear glasses all the time, just when I'm driving or looking at a chalkboard. My sister's going to help me pick out frames tomorrow.
I'm kind of excited. Even though I've never needed them until now, a part of me has always wanted to wear glasses. I've always been geeky, why hide it? ;)
More WTF from the Janet files: she sent my sister an email, and actually signed it "Love, Mom." *headdesk* I don't get how that woman's brain works.
