My sister's just told me that Coldplay is coming to Oklahoma City the night of July 10!
Portus starts... July 10. The next closest Coldplay comes to OKC is Dallas in November. Tickets go on sale here Friday.
Well, damn.
Some serious thinking to do here. It looks like the biggest thing I'd be missing that first Thursday at Portus would be the welcoming feast and the wizarding rock concert. Which does sound cool, admittedly, but I could live with missing that. The panel I'm doing with zorb, purebloodgryff, and a couple of others isn't until Saturday (right?), which leaves the biggest complication as nailing down travel/hotel arrangements with zorb.
If I go to this concert, I could still easily get to Dallas before noon on Friday. Hmmmmm.
