Fandom relationships meme

It's going around, and I'm finding reasons not to go to bed, so why not?

The one who seduced you and fucked you over and broke your heart in a million pieces and laughed about it.
Just one? Eh, I guess Buffy. If there's ever a series that fucked you over and then laughed, it's this. Heck, the "Surprise/Innocence" episode duology does that literally.

The old flame you don't see very often any more but whom you still really enjoy getting together with for a few drinks and maybe a pleasant nostalgic romp in the sheets.
Farscape, and Star Trek: TNG.

The mysterious dark gothy one whom you used to sit up with talking until 3 a.m. at weird coffeehouses and with whom you were quite smitten until you realized he really was fucking crazy.
Whoever wrote this meme had to have been thinking of The X-Files for this one. Up until season 7-8, I followed it pretty devotedly, loving its dark tones and elaborate conspiracies. Then Scully got knocked up and Mulder left, and so did I.

The one you spent a whole weekend in bed with and who drank up all your liquor, and whom you'd still really like to fuck again although you're relieved he doesn't actually live in town.
Wicked: The Musical. It's a good thing I don't live in a town with a permanent show, because damn. I'd be broke.

The steady.
Star Wars. One way or another, it's been there from the beginning.

The alluring stranger whom you've flirted with at parties but have never gotten really serious with.
Grey's Anatomy. Mostly entertaining characters and some addictively soapy plotlines, but... eh, I need more than that to stick around.

The one you hang out with and have vague fantasies about maybe having a thing with but ultimately you're just good buddies 'cause the friendship is there but the chemistry ain't.
Stephen King novels... I really like On Writing and The Stand, but while everything else I've tried of his has been decently written, none has hooked me as much as those first two.

The one your friends keep introducing you to and who seems like a hell of a cool guy except it's never really gone anywhere.
I can't think of any. Well, people keep mentioning the new Dr. Who and Battlestar Galactica around me, but I've never gotten around to sitting down to watch a full episode of either.

The one who's slept with all your friends, and you keep looking at him and thinking, "him? how the hell did he land all these cool babes?"
Lost. I tried to watch a couple of episodes, and I just go "bwah?"

The one your friend has fallen for like a ton of bricks and whom she keeps babbling to you about on the phone for hours, and you'd be happy for her except you just know it's going to end badly.
I can't think of any. Until I meet someone who hasn't read Harry Potter yet, anyway...

The one who gave you the best damned summer of your life and who you measure all other potential partners against.
Again, Star Wars. And Harry Potter, once upon a time. Most recently, The Office gave me a pretty darned good summer, if maybe not THE best (it's hard to beat a long-time runner like SW). *pets icon and LJ header*

the office, harry potter, fandom, books, tv, buffy, x-files, wicked, star wars, star trek, farscape
