Despite its H/G-ness (although tolerably one-sided), "Ode to Harry Potter" is rather catchy. Have caught myself humming or whistling it several times at work tonight. *taps foot to tune* Found a cute music video someone had made of it on
this site, so I decided to go somewhere and download the whole song. Am officially hooked. (That, and with all the H/H vids that have been posted on the Portkey.Org boards, I really think I am developing an addiction to HP music vids. Will probably go search out some more once I finish this.)
This test (gacked from
chrismiss) is strange. First time I take it, I'm banished to the eighth level of Hell (second worst), apparently where all the fraudulent, sex-crazed, kinky, deceptive, cruel people go. Despite that the kinkiest I've ever done is go into an adult store once with some friends (while being disgusted the whole time) and reading the occasional smut fic. And if I'm bad at lying, how do I end up in the deceptive/fraudulent part of hell? *shrugs* So I answer a few questions differently on the second try, and I get this.
The Dante's Inferno Test has sent you to the First Level of Hell - Limbo!
Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
LevelScore
Purgatory (Repenting Believers)Moderate
Level 1 - Limbo (Virtuous Non-Believers)High
Level 2 (Lustful)Low
Level 3 (Gluttonous)Low
Level 4 (Prodigal and Avaricious)Low
Level 5 (Wrathful and Gloomy)Low
Level 6 - The City of Dis (Heretics)Very Low
Level 7 (Violent)Low
Level 8- the Malebolge (Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers)Moderate
Level 9 - Cocytus (Treacherous)Low
Take the
Dante's Inferno Hell Test Whee. Quite a change, ne? But I'm still up there (despite being in the "good" group now) in the Fraudulent, Malicious Panderers category. Just affirms that I was in one of those narrow gray areas the first time I took the test, the one where you can easily go one way or the other and the fact that you ended up in one place over the other is a pretty arbitary 'decision'. Meh. I've said I don't care for online quizzes, but I take 'em anyway. Gotta love hypocrisy. ;)
Mom and her fiancé finally set a wedding date! :) It's about danged time. I was beginning to think Jim would never agree to one. It's May 22. The same week I go visit Lindsay in Tulsa for our Farscape/Buffy finale marathon. So I get to take most of a week off of work, looks like. *g* And I get to dress up all pretty again. I normally don't like dressing up, but I really do like how I look in my old prom dress (which seems to fit me better now than it did at prom *shrugs*)... and this will be a wedding I can actually stand by and be happy about. After all, this time, nothing will be really changing as far as things with Mom go. Jim's already done a lot of the cool stepdad-ish things, like buying Christmas presents and taking us out to eat. And it'll be cool to have a stepparent who DOES like the HP books. :D
Must go finish reading PL10. I'm sure I'm the last Pumpkineer to have done so. ;)
