I'd been thinking the yearly huge Metropolitan Library System Booksale was coming up soon, so I checked the site out and sure enough, it's later this month! :D Just in time to be a nice pre-birthday present for myself.
I still haven't finished reading all the books I got last year, but you can damn well bet I'm going to load up again. :D And I'm going to be prepared this time--you have to treat these things like an expedition: comfortable shoes, lots of easily portable storage space. Neither of which I had last year. :P And Dad's said he's going to try and get passes for the pre-public opening sale day, so woo! A chance to get to the books before the rest of the city does.
reihla, are you volunteering again this year? Maybe this time I'll remember to stop by and say hi. ;)
