Apparently the MJF thing was not all that uncommon. ;)
the first coherent sentence escaping my mouth was, "I'm in love with Harry Potter." :p Not because of Daniel Radcliffe or anything but you know, Harry.
Me too. A couple of stupid moments like 'Who wants me to open it?' aside, I overall really like how they handled Harry (heck, the whole Trio) in this film. His sweet but inept crush on Cho, his ineptitude with girls in general, his 'saving-people thing' in the second/third tasks, his love for Ron and Hermione - and perhaps most of all how he was in some of the final scenes. Like during the duel when he's hiding behind the gravestone, Voldemort taunting him, and you see Harry's expression change from fear to 'screw this, if I'm going to die, I'm damn well going to try and take this bastard with me.' Love, love that moment. Then the angry determination on his face during Cedric's eulogy, which screams OotP!Harry. And the last Dumbledore scene, where you see Harry's face lighting up at the prospect of seeing his parents again, and immediately sinking when DD reminds him there's no way to bring back the dead. All of that is the Harry I know and love from the books, HBP included.
And Hermione? Heh. I love her because I can so relate to her. She's me basically.
Yeah, I think it's safe to say my own identification with Hermione probably played some part in my being a H/Hr shipper - baggage aside, I'd rather end up with a Harry-type than a Ron-type. ;)
