Another quiet week in the life of a suburban working mom.

I finally got the rest of the laundry finished! The rain of the last two weeks pretty much dragged it out. But today was beautiful and I was at home, so **bing** it's all done and now there are piles of clean laundry and a huge pile of polar fleece waiting to turn into this.

I've been crafting up a storm. Knitting and crocheting baby hats, reticules, and scarves. I've got another one of my recycled t-shirt skirts nearly ready to stitch up.

We finished up watching Battlestar Gallactica and I really enjoyed it. Left me with lots of thinky thoughts on civilization.

Been thinking about Burning Man a lot, too. Been hearing about it for a good 10+ years and want to go, it's just so freaking far away. Luckily there's a smaller gathering much nearer (Delaware). It meets this weekend and then Memorial Day. We're thinking about going.

There's also one at Cooper's Lake (Pennsic). I'm not surprised and would go, except, it's in Feb. Blech! I don't camp in winter!

Tomorrow is going to be quiet as we head up to visit kaypendragon and kith on Sun. at the Pa. Ren Faire. And Monday is Columbus Day, so yay long weekend for fed. employees, even though we're celebrating a germy oppressor of native peoples.

The kidlet is doing fine and so is S. And so it goes.
