Sundayness
Spent yesterday chilling and making stuff. I think I managed not to leave the house at all! ;-p
I worked on two different crochet projects, a kaleidoscope skirt, and started planning an illustrated poem for next SPX. I also tidied the kitchen and the kidlet and I cooked supper together. She made homemade meatballs with spaghetti and marinara sauce, garlic bread, and tomato salad. It was really good if very red!
We talked a lot about herbs and choosing which to go in what kinds of dishes and which ones compliment each other and which are too strong to pair, etc. We also talked about figuring out the ingredients that have to go into a dish and which ones you can tweak.
Hung out with Scott and we watched a bunch of Battlestar Galactica. Third season has a piano piece called "Battlestar Sonatica" that fits my current emo piano piece mode. (The play it a lot with angsty Baltar) Found the sheet music on line so I'll be printing it out soon and begin working on it probably in the new year. (I've got three other emo pieces I'm working on and after recital in a month, I'll be working on Xmas songs.)
Overall, for me, a really nice Sunday, hanging with my fam.
