The strangest things
So I went to the gas station by my house this morning on my way to work and I notice there are 5 cops in the parking lot talking to this guy. They were all wearing khaki pants and black shirts with black vests over that with the words police and ICE on them. Turns out they were asking the guy to for papers to prove that he is here legally. The day manager of the station was all pissed off and freaked out and half the people in the store had that "deer in the headlights" look. As I was leaving, so were they. With the guy in handcuffs. I've never seen anything like it.
In other news, I'm almost totally better. I had/have a sinus infection. 3 more days of antibiotics and then i'll be good. Antibiotics are the greatest thing ever. So is breathing. It will be nice to go out this weekend. I feel like I've been tied to either my house or my grandma's house for the last 6 weeks. I need some me time. And i'm gonna get it.
