Bits and Pieces
Well, well, well. Look who's been cut off from the internet until March. Due to an unfortunate misunderstanding with our internet provider, juneheather , cricket1995 , and I are reduced to using the computers at our local library. Oh, and I can get on at work if things are really slow. [cliche alert!] This is one of those things that always happens to someone else, not you! : P
Other things going on in my life at the moment: (must make this briefer than I anticipated - my computer time is about to expire!)
~ New herd arrival yesterday - our youngest goat Bailey delivered a healthy little girl kid around 3pm. Got up at 4:30 am to check on her last night (with juneheather) and her little ears had frozen solid at the tips! (it was exactly 0 degrees F) There was nothing we could do for that. We prayed for her, and thank God this morning they had thawed up by themselves! Often little ones with long ears loose them if they are born in the extreme cold like that.
