I found this end-of-year reading report meme on birdienl's journal, though apparently it originated at blog The Perpetual Page-Turner.
So with the thanks out of the way, I shall dive into this fun overview of my 2011 reading experiences! *grabs book notebook*

*sighs at your comments on Prized* I knew you said you were disappointed and I know I will be, too. It should be better for me, though, since I know I'll be disappointed. ;))

So glad you read and liked To Kill a Mockingbird! I had horrible misconceptions about it before I read it, but now love it as well. :D

Wait, Jessica Day George has another book coming out? It sounds like it's another fairy-tale retelling with the sisters, is that right? :D *just looked it up* Huh. It'll be interesting to see what she does with Little Red Riding Hood---there's not really a prince of any sort in there. ;))

Like Mel, I shall probably be stealing this meme as soon as I can... ;D

I'm happy to hear I'm not the only one who had doubts about To Kill a Mockingbird. For a while it seemed like I had to have been the most backwards reader in North America to think such things. : D

Good point about the lack of a prince in Little Red Riding Hood - probably Ms. George will make the wood-cutter character the hero/love interest.

I shall look forward to hopefully reading your book post. : )

Oh, no, don't worry. There are at least two of us, and I'm pretty sure my friend (who convinced me to read the book) had the same thoughts before she read it too. ;))

Very true. I don't think I'd mind that too much---just as long as the wolf stays squarely in the villain category. :P

Hopefully it shall be up before too long---I have been working on it off and on this past week, so it'll just be a matter of finishing it up and sitting down and posting it. :)
