I did it again. Total Book Fail. *sigh*
I've had Veronica Roth's Divergent on my nightstand to read for like 4 weeks now. I've renewed it once already. I just now got around to reading it. I was just really getting into it. It's due today. I went to renew it, and...it has a hold on it. *cries*
So bummed.
This just happened, when I checked out Room recently, as well. I am on a losing steak these days, with reading popular books in time. I think I get too greedy and check out too many books at a time. *sigh*
I'm quitting in the middle, returning it, and planning on placing a hold to get it right back...in two weeks. Well, so long for now, Tris, Christina, Will, and Al. Especially Al. Don't die until I see you again (a very real possiblity in the Dauntless initiation!).
Well, I guess it's back to episodes of Switched at Birth or Leverage. Or, I could read the next book on my shelf, Raised By Wolves (by Jennifer Lynn Barnes) before it meets the same fate. Maybe I should stick to buying books from this point. At least those don't have return dates. :P
