So very late...should go to sleep, but want to squee about awesomeness instead.
Finally got to play World of Darkness again tonight, and serious supernatural shit went down...the premise all along has been that we started out normal, and would get turned into more powerful WoD characters as the GM found plot-relevant opportunities.
So, my opportunity came when
my character, out looking for the police during a power outage, walked into a downed power line, died, and got brought back to life by a creepy guy with a broken mirror for a face. The GM pulled me aside and we RPed my bargain with creepy mirror-guy in a dark room. He's a professional improv actor, so it was pretty awesome. And Geist is rapidly becoming my favorite of the WoD rulebooks.
And then two characters found out that they're werewolves, thanks to the awesome werewolf NPC who kind of hates my character, because I smell wrong, but he's still really cool. And I almost shot the fourth character in the head, because he got turned into a vampire, and I've got something of a grudge against vampires, seeing as they kidnapped my father and made me kill my dog.
And trying to explain our new conditions to each other was hilarious. Especially when my character really didn't feel like talking about it. "Yeah, so, last night, that thing with the power line? Yeah, I died. Only I didn't. And now I can see ghosts and there's something living in my head." And she still hasn't told the vampire why she could tell he was a vampire, because...well, because he's a vampire.
It's been playing like a movie full of awesomeness...I was a little worried about World of Darkness, since I've mostly played D&D, but it's been so much fun. Even if I am going to be really tired tomorrow.
