impulse buys
after a harrowing afternoon, I am now the proud owner of 5 new (pre-viewed) movies:
Polish Wedding ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~(I've wanted this for-ev-er!!!)
Secretary ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~(ohh Maggie Gyllenhaal, i love you forever)
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire ~ ~(more for my sister than myself, but whatev)
Red Eye ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~(...now begins my sick, twisted fascination with Cillian Murphy. He doesn't stand a chance.)
Batman Begins ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~(it tickles me, and see above)
this movie kick I'm on is rocking my socks, though draining my bank account a lil' - I'm the Late-Fee Queen (I've broken Blockbuster), so screw renting when I might as well own. How empowering!
also noteworthy, while in Sally's Beauty Supply by Walmart I picked up some self-tanner on the shelf which decided to kind of explode all over my hand. I got the sales girl and after taking many precious minutes she finally got me some water and paper towels. The tanner, though, wasn't coming off so she went to get soap. Meanwhile I investigated the exploding self tanner bottle which was "instant" and only took a "few minutes to take effect". so, after much scrubbing, a little chunk of my hand is now slightly ethnic.
