so Cornell...
What I didn't tell most people when I got accepted to Cornell was that my attendance was strictly conditional. The letter they sent me basically said my grades from SJC were so bad that they would normally NEVER accept me (I think I was averaging a C) but my recommendation (from Mr Page no less) and essay were so exceptional that they were going to give me a try anyway. I had to achieve an average of 3.2 for the whole semester and if I didnt manage it I was out with no argument. So that was kind of a sucky way to spend a semester with all that stress hovering over me. Grades came out last week and Id been avoiding checking cause as long as I didnt check I didnt have to deal with the answer. I checked today.
I got A-, A-, and a B, gpa averages to 3.5
FUCK EVERYONE FOREVER I GET TO STAY AT CORNELL AND I QUALIFIED FOR THE HONORS PROGRAM

I suspect the rainstorm that will swamp my victory parade will be a letter from Cornell telling me that theyre not going to accept ANY of my transfer credits. Which will suck. I kinda want to get the hell out of college at this point and I especially dont want to have to do TWO WHOLE MORE YEARS of college which is what it looks like at the moment.
