From where she stands, Romana can't see anyone, but she has the distinct impression she is being watched. She looks around, trying to see if anyone is there.

She decides to give it a go and steps out further approaching Romana and giving her a small wave. "Hello."

There had been someone. She evens her expression and puts on a small smile.

"Hello, Rose. Fancy seeing you here."

She smiles at Romana looking around the area.

"Yeah, tell me about it. But you know, gotta get out here and there. So you're waiting for someone?"

"Tony?" She raised an eyebrow. "He's not gonna leave you." she said attempting to be reassuring. "He'd be daft too."

"That's what everyone keeps saying, but..." Romana shrugged. "What if someone new comes along, someone better? What if she comes back?"

"She? Who's she?" She questioned tilting her head a bit. "I don't think he'd leave you like that. He really seems to like you. A lot."

When she spoke, it was almost in a whisper. "Cat. The one he loved. The one who left."

Her voice got a bit stronger. "He's brilliant at making people believe things."

"Oh," Rose said her face falling a bit. She didn't know who this other woman was but she was sure that this Tony bloke wouldn't just leave Romana like that. "Well like you said, yeah. He loved her and now he loves you. You've been there for him. I really don't think he'd leave you even if she did happen to come back."

And then she arched an eyebrow at her. "So you think he's been lying to you this whole time?"

"No, not lying, just not realizing he's not been honest." Romana shrugs. "I can't change him, if he decides...then he decides."

"I don't think he'd be lying to you about that Romana," Rose says. And if he was well he just wasn't worth it but this was all some sort of curse wasn't it? "He loves you though. A lot. You talk about him all the time. I really don't think he'd decide in a split second like that. It'd be unlike him."

"Maybe." There's another shrug. "There are things that bother him, things he hides from me, are there more things that I don't know about?"
