I can't really believe I've been here over a month, now - it's seems...oddly inaccurate to me.
This posting is mostly for Rose, since she and I were discussing it recently, but I thought others might enjoy it as well.
This is a sarlain, a simple flower from my home, but very beautiful nonetheless and something I hadn't realized I even missed until they showed up on my doorstep. Perhaps their very existance is a sign of more peaceful month ahead, or a not-too-subltle reminder that there are things around us worth...enjoying.

Don't start, they were a gift from a friend and I'm sure you can imagine who. But they are beautiful, aren't they? I hope they aren't...dificult for you to see, considering.
It does bring up an interesting issue, though. The sarlain were purchased in the Underground and I'm trying to discover how the flowers arrived in the City - perhaps there are more? We should probably investigate regardless - random items from Gallifrey may not always be what they appear.

I really cannot thank you enough, but I do have a quesiton - the individual who sold you these, do you know if he had any other Gallifreyan flora? I'd be interested in starting a small greenhouse, something to remind me of home, and I need seeds in order to do that.
And as for the other...perhaps dinner would be nice. I could use a relaxing evening out in good company.
