I got a laptop. It is awesome, and it is mine. I think I shall call it Algernon. Or possibly Sebastian.
Also, a subscribtion to a daily newspaper, a vinyl of Dixieland records (from my sister), ten pairs of knickers, a five day trip to Hamburg (with tickets for the Lion King musical and a museum of my choice), and from my grandmother a savings account of 1000€.
And tomorrow I'll get more from my aunt and my other grandma.
In conclusion: the Babyjesus does not have a recession. That, or somebody got a pay rise and didn't tell me about it.
