Deaf people and Nazi
I've read that during world war II, the nazis killed off the disabled people BEFORE they started to kill the jews.
And that deaf people in particular was hated because of some reasons. One might be the language, deaf people have own language that the nazis can't understand. Two, is that there were supposedly a good deaf school controlled by jews, with pupils from other countries. And you know, jews....
I can at least say that I am glad that I didn't live in Germany (or other affected countries) in that time! Deaf with jewish relatives. *laughs*
So, the holocaust wasn't all about jews. Every kind of people that is not "fit" were killed off. (or sterilized)
