I’m the pearl to your oyster

Hello, my dears! How's going?
It's time for a rl update!
Well, there isn't anything special in my life:  I am still in search of a job (how difficoult is to find a good one!) and I spend almost all the day in front of my computer. But there are two good reasons for doing it:
1. I'm making a lot of graphics! I don't know why, but I'm very creative in these days! So expect a very big icon post soon, lol! And my efforts were recognised: I win my first ever lims challenge!
2. I'm finally writing! I recently bought a notebok (a Sony Vaio) and I began my book. I didn't expect that would be so easy for me, but I have to say that it's turning out well. At least, I am not blocked.
Now, on fandom side! I have developped a new addiction! I am currently watching Robin Hood, the BBC series starring Richard Armitage. I should say that I watch it only for Richard, but I have to be honest, it's a very nice show. Despite the bad screenplay, the bad costumes and the ugly video editing, I like it. Maybe it's because is a simple series without high pretensions, but it catched me! And Richard character is obviously my favourite: I cannot explain why Marian prefers Robin to Guy. He has a more interesting personality and he's so sweet with her. Anyway, she left him for the fans, hahaha! I also restart to watch Elementary. I have nothing to say about it, because the 2nd season is as good as the first one. So it's all okay for me.
Now, let's talk about some new movies I watched. The last month I talked only of the Oscar's ones, so I would like to give a word about the other ones I liked. On February and March I went a lot to the cinema and I saw "I, Frankenstein", "The Counselor", "Winter's Tale", "Saving Mr. Banks", "La Belle et La Bete" and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier". I liked almost every film that I listed and I would suggest you to watch them all. But let's talk about Cap that I saw last Thursday! Oh, gosh, it was an amazing film! Captain America's movies are so original and different than the other ones! I really liked it! Well, if you want to know how muck I liked them, just check the votes on my scrapbook!
I'd also like to talk about some books I read this year. I have discovered the ones of Dan Brown (well, I knew them, since I loved the movies) and I decided to read them. They're truly amazing! Really, I loved them so much! I read only the ones about Robert Langdon, but I have planned to buy the other ones! Another book I read is North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell. Well, I loved it and now I'm addicted with it! And I was so surprised that the mini-series is so close to it! Wow, you should read it. Now I've added another "Mr." to my list of flawless men: Darcy, Rochester and Thornton! Hahaha!
I think I have said enough to tire you, so I leave you with the promise of a huge graphic post: it'll come soon!
Hugs,
Gloria.

P.S. Have you seen that Orlando Bloom finally got a star in the Walk of Fame? The ceremony was yesterday and I watched it live in streaming: it was so emotional being close to him! Well, he deserved it and I'm so proud of him! ♥
