I know, I dont' write in this livejournal from ages, but school is so stressing and I have to think of exams too. But my graphic posts are always posted it and at least you could watch my bad works! XD
Anyway, even if school is too hard, I was able to go to the cinema, and in the last period I watched 4 movies. Here you are my thoughts about them! :)
To Rome With Love
Well, as usually there are Allen's movies that are witty and some that are strange. This one is in the middle.
The movie is based in Rome and here there are various stories that concern with love. Some of them are flat and strange (like the ones with Alec Baldwin and Roberto Benigni), some are good (the Penelope's one) and the one with Woody Allen is brilliant and so amusing!
It's a movie to see for laughing with friends and for spending a good and carefree night.
The witty elements
Penelope Cruz talks and acts in italian like a goddess and the man that sing on the shower in Allen's episode.
7/10
The Rum Diary
The movie is good, Johnny's performance is great and the story is nice. There are funny parts and this movie leave you thoughtful and pensive. You will like it, if you like Blow. I personally didn't like it so much, it's so slow for my tastes, but the actors' performances are very brilliant!
The witty elements
You cannot miss the funny scenes!
7.5/10
The Avengers 3D
Oh my God! This movie is A M A Z I N G ! ! ! ! ! !
I usually don't like so much the comic productions, but this one i flawless! It's funny, rich in action, humorous and so wonderful! There aren't words for describing it! You have to to watch it, because I won't say anything else abou it! You have to descover it by yourself!
The witty elements
I love how every superhero interacts with the others and the humour is brilliant!
10/10
Dark Shadows
Oh, from this I was disappointed. I mean, the movie is good. But this isn't a normal movie, it is signed by Tim Burton. And in this movie there isn't anything genial and everything is too expected. I think that Tim Burton was so deeply in love with the soap opera, that he producted a copy of it. And it wasn't clear if he wanted to do a parody of the vampire genre or a serious thing. There are parts very serious and parts totally funny. Finally it is very strange and I think Tim Burton can do better. Anyway, the actors were all amazing!
The witty elements
Chloe Moretz and Eva Green performances are totally wonderful
7/10
