Second Week of IAP: Wednesday
I'm very fond of food. I'm currently cooking one of my favourite dishes (even though terialk calls it a cumin-y mushroom mess *sniff*). It's very comforting. I'm still craving Rhode Island Calamari from Legal's...T_T
I briefly considered going on Monday, but ended up going to CPK with foozles . They had pleasant smashed pea soup with barley. I don't know how I felt about the barley. It was akin to my feelings about bubble tea. It's very good...without the bubbles.. Similarly, the soup was very good without the barley. *realizes she's mildly picky*
I'm working on installing Perl IDE on my loaner laptop. So, I can actually run the code that my UROP supervisior sent me and actually be productive. I also finally learned--courtesy of foozles -- how to use a rice cooker. I feel mildly accomplished now.
I need to work on my novel. It's going in fits and starts-- akin to my mother's old car.
Oh well, off to lunch.
