OMG....O_O <-----I swore I would never start a blog post like that >_
Saw the first North American showing of Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End.
Initial pre-movie reaction: While, I was one of the few people who liked the 2nd movie, I realize it wasn't that great either. Thus, Theta goes in reasonably low expectations.
Initial pre-watching in theater reaction: Packed when we get there and it was an hour before it started. Realize we(Sandhya, Kristi, Amudha) are also surrounded by fellow MIT students, who we recognize from Next Act. Trailers finally start of which there was only one which kinda sucks, I actually like the trailers T_T. Then the movie starts and the lense is screwed up and someone says LSC, to minimal response. Thirty seconds later, lense screws up again. Someone else says LSC, still minimal response. Another thirty seconds later, it screws up and Sandhya ( I less than 3 her <(^O^)>) screams, " LSC!!!!" To which a large portion the audience replies "SUCKS!" and the movie finally starts.
I heart MIT..
