OOC: I'll just skip the whole "Go to the house in the forest" part, since I doubt that'll be very interesting. So this'll be Thursday morning. ;)Early as usual, since she didn't require that much sleep anymore, Soulfire stood before the window in their shared bedroom. Dayenne was still asleep and as far as she knew Liz and Katelyn as well. It was

It was too early to think, but had she been more awake Katelyn would wonder how the Elder knew which of her three guests was the first to wake. That was one of the things that made Soulfire who she was - her kind and gentle nature, and the seemingly endless supply of both knowledge and wisdom that she posessed.
"I slept well," the girl said genuinely, though a prolonged and cat-like yawn made her words sound more questionable than they were intended. It wasn't quite as relaxed as in her own bed or perhaps while visiting at Terence's apartment in town, but she had slept well enough for a strange place. "I like to rise early. It's, what I'm used to."
The pleasant smells did help to become more aware of her surroundings. Eyes slowly began to focus and the drowsy look began to fade. "That smells, very good." Curious blue eyes tried to peer into the cauldron from a short distance away. "Is there, anything I can do? To help you out?"

"I like to rise early as well," Soulfire agreed with the girl. "Sleeping in somehow seems a waste of such a perfect good day, don't you think so?"
She stirred the porridge, content with its thickness and taste. Water began to boil as well, showing it was time to add some tea leaves in order to prepare the tea.
"You can help," the witch replied to Katelyn's offer. With a smile at her, Soulfire added, "You can help with eating in a few minutes. And maybe you can wake up Liz. I expect Dayenne to wake up soon as well, if she hasn't woken up already. The table can set itself, so no help is needed there either. All I'll need are hungry people."

"Hn." Kate nodded in agreement. While she was guilty of napping from time to time, it seemed to be less wasteful than staying in bed until the sun was high in the sky as so many of her classmates chose to do on their days off.
A sleepy smile graced her face. "I think, I can help there." The delicious smells were already beginning to make her mouth water, and it would be no chore to arrive ready to eat. But first, the least she could do was assist with the one small chore she had been asked to do.
Katelyn crept back into the guest bedroom, though there was no need since she would soon have to wake her friend. She dropped to her knees beside the spare bed. As she gently brushed chocolate bangs from the Seer's peaceful face, the young Slayer felt guilty about forcing the sleeping beauty to wake. Her hand slowly moved to the resting girl's shoulder, moving only slightly in an attempt to wake the girl as easily as possible.

Although she had been fast asleep when Katelyn left and re-entered the room, the careful attempt to wake her up brought a smile to the girl's face.
"I know you're there," Liz murmured, still half asleep. She stretched out a little, though her eyes remained closed, and then turned right into the arms of Katelyn. She snuggled closely against her friend's chest with a soft, content 'hmmm'. One arm went lazily up to Kate's waist for a sleepy hug before the Seer allowed herself to fall asleep again.

"Yeah. I'm not, going anywhere." Kate's words were a quiet whisper as she spoke to the still sleeping girl. One hand idly traced the curve of Liz's back. "I'll always be right here for you."

Then a hidden, mischevious nature came up in her. "And you're going to keep me away from breakfast as well?" a sleepy voice said with a hint of teasing.

Those blue eyes reopened in mild confusion once the Seer again spoke. Katelyn's face blanked for a moment, taking Liz seriously at first. Finally she laughed and gave Liz a slight squeeze. "I was trying to wake you up, silly..." Her voice was soft, but gradually returned to it's normal volume now that Liz showed more signs of waking.

The girl slipped out of her bed - after she'd freed herself from Kate's comfortable embrace - and put on two pink bunny slippers against the cold floor. She then reached out to grab Kate's hand and pull her gently towards the kitchen and the delicious scents.

The stronger Slayer had been sent into the room to bring Liz to breakfast, but it was the Seer who led the other girl, now following behind like an obedient puppy. Once the first of the two girls stopped, the arms of the second again encircled her slender waist. "I got her," Kate said happily as she stood slightly behind her now-taller friend, looking at the Elder Soulfire from over Liz's shoulder.
