A new year
So, in two days it'll be 2008. Hmm... I doubt too much will change, not the really important things anyway. Anthony will be with me, my family will be here, my father will continue being the blind douche that he is, it's all good. School will get harder, life will get harder, but that's what happens. I did alright this semester, gradewise. I have a C+, a C, an A+ and an A, which gives me a 3.00. Whoo. Hopefully I'll do better next semester. Next semester I have Business Calculus, Macroeconomics, Intro to World Religions, German 202, and an MIS class. Three out of five should be easy. I'm going to see Lewis Black (He's a comedian.) tonight with Anthony. The tickets were his birthday present from me. I guess things will be changing with us, once all the stuff that's going to go down at his house goes down. But, they'll only be bad because it'll mean less time together. But so will things like my summer job and Germany, so it'll be alright. Speaking of jobs, I'd love to get one once school gets back in session... I need one, but since my car is dead I can't actually get one, at least not yet. Bleh. I watched Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind yesterday. I love miyazaki films. My children with definately be watching them as children. I've seen Princess Mononoke, Nausicaa, My Neighbor Tototro, The Cat Returns, Spirited Away, and Howl's Moving Castle. They're all amazing. Hmm. We've been doing a lot of cleaning around the house lately. We're planning a big garage sale for the coming weekend. If we don't sell everything, and you never do, I'm advocating a mass donation to Goodwill, because we don't need to keep all of this shit anymore. It's time to divest ourselves of clutter. Just in time for the new year, right? Time to start fresh.
